Unfortunately, it is getting to the time we are waving goodbye to the warm nights and our summer wardrobe. 🙁
I do love my warm weather, but winter fashion is right up there too!
So, don’t be too sad about the weather because there are some GREAT trends to get excited about for this Winter.
Here are some of my favourite trends for the coming season and some inspiration on how you can wear them.
Yep. That’s right. The sock boot was a hit last winter and it’s looking like they are going to be even bigger this year. Sock boots look great with, well just about anything! From a mini skirt, mid length dress or even a pair of cropped flares. They will be on high repeat for me this season.
For a day of meetings pair black sock boots with cropped flares, nude bodysuit, and detailed blazer.
There are so many great sleeve styles in stores at the moment. I just can’t get enough! The bell sleeve, ruffled, roused and tide, it’s all happening. When you’re out looking for new winter layers keep your eyes on the sleeves.
A bomber jacket with lace up detail draped over the shoulders of a subtle bell sleeve knit, paired with a soft pink handbag and earring, black denim mini with show stopping over the knee laced up boots. Perfect outfit for a femine yet slightly edgy look.
Faux Shearling Biker Jackets
Shearling biker jackets were everywhere on the other side of the world for their Winter season. Celebs and fashion bloggers could not get enough. Australian stores are just starting to bring this cosy must have to their stores and I can guarantee you will soon see them everywhere.
All black Faux Shearling Biker Jacket with a white logo tee, blue denim jeans and white runners.
Ruffles are a beautiful feminine touch to add to your wardrobe this season. Brands are incorporating them in so many ways that all body shapes can integrate ruffles into their wardrobe one way or another.
For a more formal night out wear the olive green lace dress with ruffle detail, leather jacket over the shoulders, black strappy heels with a black clutch.
Its all things shinny this season.
Metallic has been slowly appearing in stores and online for a few months now. But Paris Fashion Week 2017 gave the all clear for metallic to go full steam ahead for the coming season. After those incredible silver boots were featured in YSL’s runway show and Chanel’s Space themed show. It was all systems go metalic for me anyway! Whether you introduce a metallic skirt, pair of boots or heels, I can guarantee you won’t regret it.
For Friday night drinks with the girl’s pair silver metallic boots with a black denim skirt, logo tee, leather jacket and black and silver accessories.
Has anyone else noticed people absolutely rocking skin tight vinyl pants and skirts? I have (shout out to Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What), and I must say I am won over.
For a mild Winters day pair black vinyl pants with a white oversized shirt, mules and an over the shoulder bag with a pop of colour.
